Belton Cottage Publishing is pleased to announce a call for submissions for their first YA Fantasy Anthology.
Genre: Young Adult Fantasy
Theme: Discovering or Achieving One’s Destiny
Word Count Limit: 5000
Submission Deadline: May 17, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. PST
We won’t accept “dark fantasy stories” and ask that all submissions be “clean” fiction without graphic violence or sexual content.
All stories submitted must be previously unpublished, including online publication, and must be original content. We do not accept simultaneous submissions—a limit of two submissions per person.
Chosen authors will be notified before June 30, 2021, and will receive a $10 fee (USD) and a free copy of the e-book.
Formatting Guidelines:
We ask that all submissions are edited to the best of your ability and meet the following criteria:
- Double-space the entire story
- Use 12 pt. Times New Roman font
- Use a 1” margin on all sides
- Put your name, page number and title at the top right corner
- Don’t number the first page but do number the rest of the pages
- Put your name, contact information, previous publications, story name and word count in the body of your email
- Use Word.doc or.docx format

If you could travel to either the past or the future, which would you choose?
Belton Cottage Publishing is pleased to announce a call for submissions for its first publication: Time Wells: A Time Travel Anthology.
We are accepting short stories up to 5000 words and from any genre (except erotica and horror). Stories must adhere to the time travel theme. We ask that all submissions be “clean” fiction without graphic violence or sexual content.
All stories submitted must be previously unpublished, including online publication. All stories must be original content. We do not accept simultaneous submissions. Limit of two stories per person.
Submit your stories to submissions@beltoncottagepublishing.com before July 31, 2019, at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
Chosen authors will be notified on and/or before September 1, 2019, and will receive a free copy of the e-book and a swag bag.
